The Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce sought judgment for its claim that section 112 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances is unconstitutional, regarding the Milwaukee paid sick leave ordinance.

Oral arguments from the Wisconsin District II Court of Appeals on case 2008AP002458-J – Wisconsin Judicial Commission v. The Honorable Michael J. Gableman. In this case, Supreme Court Justice Gableman is accused of lying about his opponent in a March 2008 TV ad. A hearing on Gableman's motion to dismiss the case on First Amendment grounds took place before a panel of three judges on September 16, 2009 in Waukesha. Following the hearing, Gableman's attorney held a news conference.
