On December 6, 2011 in Middleton Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen unveiled the Wisconsin Crime Alert Network (WCAN), a new public safety initiative being implemented by the Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) at the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) to help local law enforcement solve and prevent crimes by partnering with local businesses and residents.
