The Senate Committee on Education held a public hearing on March 23, 2011 to discuss the following bills: Senate Bill 20, relating to authorizing the sale of city-owned building used for school purposes; Senate Bill 34, relating to prohibiting the Milwaukee Public Schools from imposing residency requirements on teachers; and Senate Bill 22, relating to charter schools.
