In his first Newsmakers interview since the Nov. 6 election, U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan said the next budget fight in Washington will occur in a few weeks and be over raising the nation's debt ceiling, spending cuts demanded by he and his fellow Republicans, entitlement reform and heading off a fund-sequester plan that would cut Pentagon spending by $1 trillion over 10 years. The Republican vice presidential nominee also said, had he and Gov. Mitt Romney been elected, the nation's fiscal mess would be closer to being solved. Ryan also said he's tired of being asked whether he will run for President in 2016, since the last election was only nine weeks ago.
