Two Assembly leaders -- Republican Robin Vos and Democrat Peter Barca -- interpreted the results of six historic June 5 recall elections differently in the June edition of Civil Dialogue. Vos and Barca also talked about the number of voters who were sick of recalls, how Republican Gov. Scott Walker could go beyond his brats-and-beer summit to really work with Democrats. and previewed the Nov. 6 fight to control the state Assembly. They also talked about possible changes to the recall process for state officials.
