05.04.12 | Campaign 2012 Newsmakers: Gubernatorial Candidate Tom Barrett (D)
Duration: [00:29:30]
Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, one of four Democrats in Tuesday's primary for that party's nomination for governor, said Republican Gov. Scott Walker acts like he "doesn't even want" to be governor by traveling around the nation and becoming a star of conservative politics. Barrett also said, if Wisconsin's economy had performed only as well as all other states, the state would have 60,000 new jobs, instead of leading the nation in March-to-March job losses. The only four Democrats vying for the party's nomination for governor on May 8 are former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk, state Sen. Kathleen Vinehout and Secretary of State Doug La Follette.
