By the Numbers, WisconsinEye's quarterly show on economic indicators, focused on why Wisconsin led the nation in job losses in the year that ended on March 31. Panelists also agreed that economic indicators suggest a 2012 recovery for Wisconsin. The April 30, 2012, show was taped in front of a live audience at the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce, giving MMAC members a chance to ask follow-up questions. Panelists were Clare Zempel, former chief Baird economist and founder of Zempel Strategic; lawyer and former Blue Cross/Blue Shield CEO Tom Hefty, and Laura Dresser, assistant director of the Council on Wisconsin Strategy.
