Following the Government Accountability Board meeting on April 17, 2012, GAB Director and General Counsel Kevin Kennedy held a news conference to announce the GAB has unanimously rejected a challenge to the Republican-backed candidates who have filed to run in next month's Democratic recall primaries. Therefore, the candidates will appear on the primary ballot in the races for state Senate, Lt. Governor and Governor.
