The City of Milwaukee has a long tradition of helping young people learn the skills needed to become productive members of the local workforce. This summer some 3000 participants will be working in the City’s “Earn and Learn,” program. Opportunities range from retail sales to computer graphics. William Malone is the City of Milwaukee’s Youth Development Coordinator. He recently sat down with WisconsinEye Host Mark Siegrist and Videographer John Schroeder to speak at length about the concept.
