Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chairman Mike Tate, along with Democratic Party attorney Jeremy Levinson, and United Wisconsin Co-Chair Ryan Lawler, held a news conference on January 17, 2012 in Madison to announce that they had collected over one million petition signatures to trigger a recall election of Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker. The group announced that they had also collected over 800,000 signatures to recall Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch.
