Chief Justice Shirley S. Abrahamson presented the 2009 State of the Judiciary Address November 4, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Milwaukee. The Chief's address, titled "What Opportunity Looks Like," highlighted eight justice-related initiatives undertaken in counties across Wisconsin during the past year. Director of State Courts A. John Voelker gave the annual State of the Director's Office presentation immediately following the Chief Justice's Speech.
